AMBER FLORES
Amber Flores is a current doctoral student at Center for Neuropsychological Services working towards getting her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. Her research interest includes Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Adolescent Trauma. She obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis, where she discovered her interest in family dynamics. Amber has experience counseling all age levels using a variety of methods to help clients identify the root of their struggles including CBT, motivational interviewing, and TFCBT (Trauma focused CBT). Ambers treatment background includes experience working with a variety of diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Amber is looking forward to completing her educational goals and working within the private sector.
