A neuropsychological evaluation\u00a0consists of an interview about history\u00a0and background. Testing involves\u00a0paper and pencil, hands on activities,\u00a0answering questions and computerized\u00a0tests. Many neuropsychologist employ\u00a0trained examiners, technicians, or\u00a0doctoral students to assist with the\u00a0administration and scoring of the tests.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

The time required for the testing\u00a0depends on the problems or referral\u00a0questions. Often the tests may take\u00a0anywhere from 2-6 hours which may\u00a0vary on the processing of information.\u00a0Some tests may be relatively easy and\u00a0others more challenging, however,\u00a0motivation and effort will provide a\u00a0more accurate representation of the\u00a0current issue.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
